It is mandatory that you have your own insurance and certification to cover your business and practices. This includes, but is not limited to: Public Liability Insurance, Food Hygiene Certificates, Product Certificates, Hair Insurance, Beauty Insurance, Accreditation, Health & Safety Certificate, and/or Temporary Event Notice (TEN) from our local authority for the sale of products containing alcohol.

Cultural Pop-up Market -

We be occupying a Unit 7 vacant unit on the Westgate shopping centre in Stevenage. 

Pop-up Market Trading Hours

• Westgate Shopping Centre Saturday: 10:00 – 17:00

• Westgate Shopping Centre Sunday: 10:00 – 16:00

Traders must remain open for the full trading hours unless given permission to leave early.

All traders must enter and exit through the designated trader’s entrance only, to prevent disruption to mall operations and for health and safety.

Arrival - Get In

Saturday 10th October - Arrive at 08:00 to set up and be ready to open to the public at 10:00. The emergency evaluation briefing will be at 09:30 and the event will run until 17:00.

Sunday 11th October - Arrive at 08:00 to set up and be ready to open to the public at 10:00. The emergency evaluation briefing will be at 09:30 and the event will run until 16:00. For those here exhibiting on the Saturday and leaving your stall overnight, please arrive by 09:30

On Saturday If your activity/stall is situated outside the shop on the main mall floor, you will need to bring it inside the shop for overnight secure storage. 

Please provide a sheet or covering for your stall overnight. The shop will be locked and the shopping centre part of the mall closes to the public from 18:00 - 09:00. The whole mall has 24/7 security.

*** Prompt arrival is required for the emergency evaluation briefing

*** There are no hanging facilities at the venue, and no nails can be placed in the walls. Please bring the appropriate materials which can be removed without causing damage and which will hold your piece in place to prevent falling objects.

The Westgate multi-storey car park is open 24 hours a day providing 395 car parking spaces within the shopping mall. More long stay car parks are in the area.

These guidelines are mandatory for all stallholders. Compliance is a condition of your agreement to trade at our events. Our goal is to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and professional environment for all.
